about circl.

making self-care communal, safe and kind.

circl. is a preventive mental wellbeing and community-health initiative. It treats wellbeing as part of everyday life, something we look after together, not only when something goes wrong.

why circl.

from private feelings to shared, real-world connection.

Stress, burnout and loneliness are part of many people's everyday lives, especially young adults. Yet support often only arrives once things have become difficult, and looking after yourself can feel like something you have to do alone.

circl. sets out to change that: making everyday wellbeing feel normal, approachable and shared, and helping people connect with others in safe, welcoming spaces.

Our preventive focus reflects the WHO's call for early identification, self-management and community-based mental health support: WHO: World mental health report: transforming mental health for all (2022) (opens in a new tab).

who it's for

people who aren't in crisis, but don't feel quite connected.

circl. is for everyday emotional load, not clinical emergencies. Our first focus is students and young adults, along with the universities and organisations that support them.

Whoever you are, you're welcome. You never need to explain why you're here.
